Compared to the last sale a month ago, the majority of steers sold 10.00-15.00 higher with a few exceptions for those under 500 lbs and those over 750 lbs selling mostly steady. Heifer calves under 600 lbs sold sharply higher, mostly 15.00-30.00 higher and the heifers over 600 lbs sold steady to 7.00 higher. Demand was good to very good following the extended break and supply was heavy with several loads and long strings of calves. Slaughter cows sold with a higher undertone.
