Compared to last week, steers sold steady to 4.00 higher with the gain on those weighing 500-700 lbs, however a lighter test of the calves under 450 lbs didn't reach the highs achieved last week. Heifers traded mostly steady. Demand was good to very good, best for those weighing 450-675 lbs. Supply was moderate as a few days of dryer weather made for better conditions to move cattle. Slaughter cows sold 3.00-7.00 higher, bulls steady to 5.00 higher building on last weeks gains.
