Compared to the most accurate comparisons from three weeks ago, feeders sold slightly uneven as steer calves weighing 450-500 lbs sold 5.00-8.00 higher and heavier weight steers sold steady to 4.00 lower. Heifers sold steady to 5.00 higher on a very active market. Supply was heavy and reputation quality cattle were offered all day long. The market was active despite cattle futures lower and corn higher. Demand was moderate to very good with steer calves and heifers weighing 450-675 lbs selling with the best demand. A full house of buyers were on hand and there was some demand for replacement females. Slaughter cows sold uneven as fleshier breaking cows sold mostly steady and lean and boning cows sold 3.00-5.00 lower.
