Compared to last week, based on a light test of comparable sales steers and heifers sold steady to 5.00 higher with spots up to 8.00 higher. Near 20 loads of quality yearlings were on hand that sold with good demand in front of a full house of buyers along with several medium to smaller sized groups of attractive long weaned cattle. Trade was active and supply was heavy. Slaughter cows sold steady to 3.00 lower with the decline on average dressing boning and lean cows.
