Compared to last week, steers sold mostly steady to 4.00 lower with the weakness on the 600-650 lb weight range. A couple loads of 717-786 lb steers sold with a firm undertone to light comparisons last week. Heifers sold steady. Demand was good and trade was active with several attractive consignments of yearlings and weaned calves offered. Supply was moderate. Some timely rains have perked up the grass and crops. Slaughter cows sold steady to firm.
