Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold steady to 6.00 higher. Demand was moderate to good for a mix of both yearlings and calves with 3 loads of 880 lb steers offered. Supply was moderate. The fed cattle trade has improved quite a bit over the last month which puts everyone in the business in a more positive attitude. Slaughter cows sold 3.00-5.00 lower.
