Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold mostly steady with some spots 5.00 to 15.00 higher on the better quality weaned calves. This week the supply was moderate. The CME cattle future markets have been up and down, mostly down, demand was moderate to good with quality and health programs still playing a big part in just how aggressive buyers were willing to get with their bidding. The supply was moderate to good. Slaughter cows and bulls traded mostly steady.
