A large crowd was on hand for Unionville Livestock's Special Cow Sale this month. A number of serious potential buyers made for some lively bidding but with most of the interested parties holding a firm line on their top end, the bulk of the trade was in a pretty tight price range. Several reputation strings of replacement heifers were offered as well as a number of young cows from 3 to 5 years old. Quality was very attractive from start to finish, really as a whole one of the best offerings here at Unionville Livestock in recent memory. Supply moderate, demand good.
