Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to two weeks ago, steer calves sold 10.00 to 20.00 higher, few spots sharply higher under 500 lbs. Yearling load lots 1.00 to 3.00 lower. Heifers traded 20.00 to 25.00 higher. Slaughter cows steady to 5.00 higher. Different week but the same story with cash feeders continuing to add on big gains with every sale. Several high quality reputation strings were available and buyers remain aggressive, buying what they can while they can. Supply moderate, demand very good.
