As filed

No recently tested calf market but compared to the last sale two weeks ago, yearling load lots sold 1.00 to 3.00 lower. Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 higher. Tuesday was Unionville Livestock's Annual Customer Appreciation Sale, complete with a BBQ lunch for all in attendance as well as an appearance by World Champion Livestock Auctioneer Dean Edge. Lots of good quality cattle came through the ring from start to finish, including 13 straight pot loads, all from reputation consignors, all easily finding rides to new homes. Aside from the load lots, the rest of the offering was mostly sorted into good sized lots, giving buyers plenty to work with to fill their orders. Several extra buyers in the seats made for some lively trade and extended bidding, even if most weren't quite as aggressive as we've seen in recent weeks given the recent volatility in the futures market. Supply heavy, demand good.
