No recently tested market for a true price comparison; looking back to the last sale in mid-December, steers and heifers of all weights traded sharply higher this week. Slaughter cows were also sharply higher. This was the first sale of 2024 after several rounds of winter weather caused a couple sales to be postponed. Supply heavy, demand good.
