As filed

Compared to the last sale two weeks ago, steers under 550 lbs and all weights of heifers sold dramatically higher, fully 15.00 to 20.00 higher, with most heifers under 600 lbs benefitting from even larger gains. Steers over 550 lbs 6.00 to 10.00 higher. Slaughter cows 3.00 to 5.00 higher. Same song, different verse this week with the local market taking a big jump from the previous sale. Excellent quality for most of the day made for some ambitious bidding early on. Buyers showed no hesitation pushing prices to new highs, again, even though it's been a long stretch with little to no correction in the cash feeder trade. Supply moderate, demand very good.
