Compared to the last tested market four weeks ago, yearling steers traded 1.00 to 2.00 higher, other weights 1.00 to 5.00 lower. Slaughter cows mostly steady. The cattle complex has moved slightly lower the past few weeks but the local market held up pretty well, particularly yearling trade, which exceeded most everyone's expectations. A handful of load lots from two longtime reputation producers highlighted the sale, with one particular stick out set of 880 lb steers ringing the bell at over 1650.00 per head. Supply moderate, demand mostly moderate, good in spots.
