Compared to the last tested market four weeks ago, steers and heifers sold mostly 5.00 to 10.00 higher with the sharpest advance on 600-700 lb steers. Slaughter cows 4.00 to 5.00 lower. The local cash trade had no trouble catching up with the advances in the feeder cattle market since the last auction. Several loads and part loads on offer with very few light calves available this week. Another tough go Tuesday at the CME with triple digit loses for all Live and Feeder Cattle contracts. Supply heavy, demand moderate to good.
