Compared to the last sale two weeks ago, steers and heifers sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher. Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 higher. A large crowd was on hand for the Annual Customer Appreciation BBQ Sale featuring several pot lots of heavy yearlings. Several buyers were active in the calf market, creating some pretty strong trade with nearly all the consignments weaned with shots. The yearlings on offer were a mix of home raised and backgrounded cattle, mostly steers, concentrated over just a couple volume orders. Supply moderate to heavy, demand moderate to good.
