Compared to last week, steer calves weighing 400-500 lbs on a light test sold steady to firm, with 500-650 lbs trading steady and 650-900 lbs sold firm to 5.00 higher, spots 7.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 600 lbs sold steady to firm, with 600-750 lb heifers trading firm to 5.00 higher. Demand was moderate to good on a moderate offering, with the best demand was on several consignments of top quality 675-700 lb steers, pot load of 618 lb heifers and with the 8 weight steers also finding better demand this week.
