*CLOSE* Compared to two weeks ago, steers sold 4.00 to 7.00 higher, with instances 10.00 to 12.00 higher on the fancier or thin fleshed kind. Heifers sold 6.00 to 10.00 higher. Demand was good to very good on an excellent set of calves in the offering today. The highlight of the day was 3 loads of 734 lb yearling steers selling at 157.75 and a load of 727 lb steers at 159.85.
