*CLOSE* Compared to last week, steers under 700 lbs were steady to 3.00 higher, while steer calves over 700 lbs were steady to 1.00 lower. Heifers under 450 lbs were 4.00 to 6.00 higher; 450-550 lb heifers sold steady to 2.00 higher; over 550 lbs sold steady to 2.00 lower. Yearlings not well tested. Demand was good to very good on calves under 500 lbs this week and the rest of the offering was met with moderate to good demand. *Reminder: Next week will be the last feeder cattle sale of 2019 at the St Joseph Stockyards.
