*CLOSE* Compared to two weeks ago, yearling steers and heifers sold steady to 1.00 higher on good demand. Similar kind of steer and heifer calves not well tested today, however a steady to lower undertone noted. This is the first bigger run of new crop calves that are both weaned and unweaned at this point in time and they were greeted with light to moderate demand. The highlight today was a load of 718 lb steers selling at 159.75 and a part load of 830 lb steers at 153.25.
