*CLOSE* Compared to last week, steer calves under 550 lbs sold 4.00 to 6.00 lower, while those over 550 lbs were steady. Heifer calves under 500 lbs were 3.00 to 7.00 lower, while those over 500 lbs were steady to 2.00 higher. Yearlings not tested. Demand moderate to good. Bulk of the supply on hand was calves weighing 450-650 lbs. Two plus inches of rainfall the last couple days will rejuvenate some thirsty pastures as well as attitudes of farmers and ranchers in the area.
