*CLOSE* Compared to last week, steers and heifers selling steady to 3.00 higher. Demand moderate to good. Bright sunshine with wind the last few days has dried up some lots letting producers get the rust worked back in from last winter's hay feeding. Farmers are working in the fields at a feverish pace trying to get fertilizer and anhydrous applied ahead of a fast approaching planting season.
