There was a full house tonight for the kickoff of the fall replacement cattle sale at the SLMC after the short summer break. Sale highlights included 100 heifers bred to Wagyu bulls set to start calving the beginning of September, many large groups of fall calving cows, and high quality spring pairs with strapping calves at side. Demand was good on a heavy supply with many bidders and buyers ready to fill fall pastures.
