There was a large crowd tonight at the monthly replacement cattle special at the SLMC. Many herd dispersals were included in the offering and brought quality pairs and bred cattle to town. A nice set of open stock cows were also included in the offering, just in time for fall breeding season. Demand for breeding bulls was good on a quality offering this month with many breeds of bulls in the mix. Despite lingering drought conditions heading into the winter, demand for quality replacements was good with many active bidders throughout the evening.
