Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week, based on very limited receipts this week and last, steers and heifers sold with a steady undertone. After weeks of feeder cattle futures trending down, with a sharp down on Monday, the past two days have shown a small amount of recovery in the board. The extreme heat of July is keeping all sales in the area very light. Demand was light.
