Compared to the last slaughter and replacement cattle sale two weeks ago, slaughter cows and bulls traded 4.00 to 6.00 lower. Supply of slaughter cows and replacements was heavy this week with a few dispersals in the offering. Rising temperatures and little to no rainfall for most of the area led to this large receipt increase as producers cull herds. Demand was moderate.
