Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows sold 2.00-4.00 higher and slaughter bulls sold 4.00-5.00 higher. Weather conditions a cross the country, with a combination of mud and or snow, make it difficult for producers to get cattle to market, giving a short supply and resulting in higher prices. The offering included a light supply of bred cows and cow/calf pairs were scarce. Supply was light and demand very good for slaughter classes.
