Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last Wednesday, feeder steers under 600 lbs 3.00-12.00 higher with greatest advance under 500 lbs. Steers over 600 lbs near steady on a light test. Feeder heifers 5.00-10.00 higher except some less attractive near 500 lbs steady to firm. Slaughter cows 2.00-6.00 lower. Demand good to very good. Supply light. Good feeder trade despite the return of negative bird flu news which sent feeder futures lower on Wednesday.
