Slaughter cows 8.00-10.00 higher. Demand uneven. Supply moderate. Geopolitics had the feeder market somewhat bifurcated although feeder contracts did gain back around 2.80/cwt on Wednesday. Buyers were still quite aggressive in the lighter weights while rising feed costs and 111.00/barrel oil caused some hesitancy in feedlot bound cattle. It appears lower cutout values and the negativity of events is going to result in a lower fed cattle trade this week.
