Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last Wednesday, feeder steers steady to 2.00 higher. Feeder heifers steady. Slaughter cows 1.00-2.00 higher. Demand good. Supply moderate. Feeder offering dominated by good quality new crop calves weighing 650 lbs and down. Strong demand despite lower trending feeder futures and a rising corn market that made new contract highs Wednesday. Special cow sale followed the feeders highlighted by several nice pairs off a complete dispersion.
