Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Feeder supply not sufficient to establish a market trend. Slaughter cows 1.00-2.00 higher. Light run with a nice offering expected next week. Overall in the feeder trade yearlings and high quality calves still see good demand while the calf market in general is in need of more takers, less dust and less 50 degree temperatures swings. Recent advances seen in the fed cattle market may prove more difficult this week as beef cutout values and live futures are not currently very supportive.
