Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Feeder steers and heifers not well tested. Slaughter cows 1.00-3.00 higher. With no apparent ability to kill our way out of the the current supply issue it seems the cattle market will limp on with big numbers and huge carcass weights for an unknown period of time, with potentially smaller early fall market ready numbers maybe providing an opportunity to get back on track.
