Heifers over 550 lbs steady. Slaughter cows steady. Demand good to very good. Supply heavy. This was the first of the calf specials, a showcase for many of the areas top reputation fall born calves which will change hands over the next several weeks. Even in what has been a lower trending feeder market over the past few weeks, the ammunition flew when the days absolute front end offerings hit the ring. Several consignments sold right off of mama with two rounds of shots.
