Compared to last Wednesday, feeder steers under 500 lbs 4.00-6.00 higher, over 500 lbs steady. Feeder heifers unevenly steady. Slaughter cows 1.00-2.00 higher. Good quality offering of mostly lighter cattle under 600 lbs. Demand good to very good. Supply moderate. Some grass fever showing up in the light steers spurred partly by good weather and some local demand. Cattle market in general also looks good so far this week with a higher fed trade and deferred live and feeder contracts both looking pretty bullish.
