Heifers in this sale have met minimum standards for reproductive soundness, pelvic size, frame size, muscle thickness, body condition, and weight. They have undergone a comprehensive health program, and are guaranteed bred. All heifers are expected to calve from late August to late November. The offering includes 5 Registered Angus. Heifers were graded and sorted into uniform lots according to projected calving dates and body type similarity. Demand higher compared to last December and the offering moderate with a very good attendance.
Supply consisted of 112 bred heifers from 11 producers, in 48 lots selling to 19 different buyers with a sale average of $2856.00 per head, $257.00 higher than the December sale.
