Compared to last week's light run, feeder steers over 700 lbs. sold 5.00-10.00 higher with heifers not well tested. Steer and heifer calves under 700 lbs. sold 6.00-12.00 higher with spots 20.00 higher. Demand was good on a moderate supply. Receipts were average, for this time of the year, with cooler temperatures and hay harvest wrapping up. The largest draft of the day was 244 head of 860 lb. colored up steers which sold for 360.50/cwt. Another stick-out draft was 76 head of 754 lb. black steers which sold for 390.50/cwt.
