Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold steady. Steer and heifer calves were uneven from 5.00 lower to 5.00 higher. Demand was good on a moderate supply. The largest draft of the day was 270 head of 539 lb. steer calves which sold for 508.00/cwt. Cattle futures gained some ground on Tuesday after sharp declines on Friday and a break for the MLK Holiday on Monday.
