Compared to last week, steer and heifer calves traded steady to 4.00 lower with most weights not well tested. Yearling steers traded steady. Demand was moderate on a light supply. Sub-zero temperatures expected this week kept several buyers out of the market and those in the market, very picky on the health program and weaning time on calves. Feeder Sales for 2022 at Ozark's Regional Stockyard totaled 147,939 head. This was 14 percent less than 2021 and 12 percent lower than the 5 year average. An additional 26,110 feeders sold through the Video Auction in 2022.
