Compared to last week, steer calves under 500 lbs traded steady to 5.00 lower with heavier weights 7.00-10.00 lower. Heifer calves traded 4.00-8.00 lower. Demand was moderate on a light supply. With the live cattle and feeder cattle futures both up the limit there was some optimism in the cash market, however given the boards volatility, marketing decisions are still a challenge.
