Compared to last week, steer calves traded 7.00-14.00 higher while heifer calves traded 4.00-10.00 higher. Demand was good on a heavy supply. Many attractive packages were available this week with high quality and thin flesh being rewarded with the highest prices we've seen this year. Steers averaged 607 lbs at $155.15/cwt while heifers averaged 570 lbs at $138.33/cwt.
