Compared to last week, steer and heifer calves traded steady to 3.00 lower with the exception of some 6 weight calves trading 3.00 higher.

Demand was good on a light supply. Steers averaged 589 lbs at $144.41/cwt while heifers averaged 542 lbs at $127.87/cwt. Heavy rains on top of already muddy lots keep receipts light.
