There were no recent Wean-Vac special sales for comparison, however compared to Tuesday's regular sale, 500-750 lb. steer and heifer calves were 5.00-10.00 higher. Yearling steers were 2.00-5.00 higher with yearling heifers not well tested. Demand was good on a heavy supply. A good crowd was on hand with several new buyers ringside. The quality of the offering was above average with most calves long-time weaned with two or more rounds of shots. The average size draft was 8 1/2 head with 45 drafts of 25 head or larger. The largest draft was 135 head of 889 lb. steers which sold for 225.25.
