Compared to last week, slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. Demand was good on a moderate supply of bred cows and slaughter animals and a light supply of pairs. The top slaughter bull sold for 207.00/cwt. and the top slaughter cow sold for 175.00/cwt. The top pairs sold for 3500.00 and the top bred cows sold for 3400.00/head. The cattle futures traded on the positive side on Wednesday, ending several days of closing lower.
