Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week, slaughter cows and bulls traded 2.00-4.00 lower with high dressing breaking and boning cows trading 5.00-7.00 lower. Demand was good on bred cows and pairs and moderate on slaughter animals. The supply was heavy with several herd sellouts in the offering. Adequate soil moisture and warmer temperatures have started turning pastures a little greener which has increased the demand for replacement cattle.
