Compared to last week, slaughter cows and bulls traded 2.00-4.00 higher. Demand was good on a heavy supply. With good demand and prices for cuts, grinds and trimmings, feeder cows were in direct competition this week with high dressing breaking cows. Many of the young, fleshy cows will be making a trip to spend some time in the feedlots before ending up in the processing plants.
