A near capacity crowd was on hand for this month's Special Cow Sale at New Cambria Livestock. Demand was good, at times very good, with a large number of active bidders throughout the crowd. A wide variety of stock was on hand, including a handful of heifer consignments of varying type and condition, but the bulk of the offering consisted of cow/calf pairs, somewhat of a surprise this time of year. Total receipts include about 250 head of slaughter cows.
