Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold mostly 5.00 to 15.00 higher with a little weakness detected in some light grazing steers where the top end price just didn't quite reach last week's highs. Slaughter cows steady to 5.00 higher. Three load lots of backgrounded cattle made up a fair portion of the offering, with some particularly whippy trade for the loads of yearling heifers. Supply light, demand good.
