Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week steers and heifers sold mostly 5.00 to 10.00 higher, with the exception of some 600-700 lb steers trading steady. Slaughter cows 1.00 to 5.00 higher. Quality was not as attractive this week and condition ran the gamut, but tight numbers in general and especially throughout the immediate trade area this week propped the market up easily. Supply light, demand moderate to good.
