Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Demand was very good with no recent sales to make good comparisons. However a higher undertone was noted as some packages topped with prices near or above all time highs for their particular weight. Good rainfall across North Missouri have pastures and crops looking good, and lower corn prices will only help keep the feeder market spiced up. Slaughter cows near steady. Supply moderate for a mid-summer sale.
