As filed

Compared to last week, steers sold steady to 5.00 lower and heifers traded either side of steady, in a range of mostly 2.00 lower to 2.00 higher. Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 higher. A pretty different offering this week and while overall quality didn't run as deep, several very attractive consignments were available. Buyers weren't quite as aggressive and the lower trend was mostly a reflection of prices taken off the top end of last week's spreads. Supply and demand moderate.
