Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week, steers and heifers traded unevenly steady, mostly 2.00 lower to 2.00 higher. Slaughter cows steady to 1.00 lower. Quality ran deep into the sale again this week with most weights and classes of cattle trading right around the same ranges as last Thursday. Some of the unweaned/unworked cattle did have a harder time finding a new home, no doubt in part due to the pending weather change with a forecasted 50 plus degree drop in temperatures. Demand good, supply moderate.
